OnStar System – Take the risks of driving alone out of your mind and be assured that a genuine person is only a button away. Yes, everyone has their phones and can call for help, but the OnStar System is better. Imagine getting a flat tire. Rather than needing to work out where you are and how to get it fixed, the OnStar rep sees your actual location and can send assistance immediately. There’s also the risk of the unthinkable: an auto theft or other life-threatening situation. Simply push the OnStar button and you’ll get the help you need.
Satellite Radio – You will never be happy with local radio after scrolling the tons of listening options that come with satellite radio. Most new cars now come with one year of free listening. There’s no end to the sorts of programming entertainment that is available through both Sirius and XM radio subscriptions.
Built-in Water Cooler – Imagine long trips where your soda and potato salad stay cold for its entirety. Driving becomes much more convenient and those that regularly drive long distances will truly appreciate this accessory. However, automobile manufacturers have yet to produce a cooler that stays cold even when the automobile is not running.
Rain Sensing Wipers – This might not be as mandatory as satellite radio and OnStar but it is certainly nice to have. This add-on works using an infrared sensor in the car’s window. The sensor will sense dust and moisture, quickly working to clear the windshield.
Built-in Navigation – Gone are the days of needing to set your portable GPS system on your hand, lap or dash. The genius of the built-in navigation system is its convenient location in relation to the driver’s line of sight. Also, most all portable GPS devices have to waste time working out their location when first switched on. Built-in GPS systems rarely experience delay. As fast as the vehicle is started, the GPS locates itself.
